“Age Is No Barrier, It’s A Limitation You Put On your Mind” – Jackie Joyner-Kersey

At 40+ being healthy and fit is often more mental than physical. Life has hit us with divorce, lost careers, raising children and grandchildren, years of being overworked and underpaid, past injuries, illness and so much more!

We must adapt to change. It is inevitable yet predictable. We will not remain the same person today, tomorrow, weeks, months or years from now. Change is both joy and pain. Regardless, how we respond to change is an opportunity to grow and be transformed. We can participate in life regardless of age or challenges we face. As we encounter difficulties in our lives we become more self-focused, self-involved, and self-conscious. Therefore we need to step outside of ourselves and ask for help. We need the right people and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is our choice to continue the Journey alone.
