Wayne Dawkins Interview – Burundi P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy Mission.

It has always been my plan to go to Africa but I never imagined my first trip would be to Burundi. When I was introduced to Patrick Bizindavyi I was embarrassed that I had never heard of the country he is from. Add to that I don't speak any of Burundi's main languages, Kirundi, French, and Kiswahili. My wife and I did some quick research and prayer and the rest is history. Our mission to see Africa and the Caribbean develop the infrastructure and resources to develop more of their talented young basketball players themselves has begun. - Wayne Dawkins
